Old Lisbon Rd Water Main and Rehabilitation Project Resuming Construction:

Construction of the Old Lisbon Rd project to replace the water main and pave the road has resumed work.  St Laurent and Son has begun work on the second half of the project started last fall between Old Webster Rd and the Turnpike.  The road will be closed and detoured onto Old Webster Rd.  Local traffic, school buses and emergency vehicles can get through.  The contractor is working to set up the temporary water main and blasting is scheduled to resume on April 16th between house #54 and #142.  The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of May.

Bartlett Street Improvements Project

On or around April 9th, construction will begin on the Bartlett Street Improvements  Project.  The project involves new street and sidewalk pavement with new curb, pedestrian bump outs at intersections, trash receptacles and street trees between East Avenue and College Street.  The road will remain open with two-way traffic for the majority of the project and with one-way alternating traffic at times.  Emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass at all times and completely closing traffic lanes will only happen on a short term basis if necessary.   Street parking will be temporarily unavailable in the area of construction.  Construction is expected to last until late September. The contractor is J Pratt Construction, Inc.
